After the battle under Tentora against Whiting’s cyborg army, Chris is left tired and wanting to leave the fighting behind even more.
However he is intercepted by Danielle Ross, the tough and beautiful leader of an undisciplined military group, The Silver Veins. She wants him to join them hunting for the escaped Whiting and his gang, but Chris doesn’t want to be pulled back in.
The mission takes them into space and to a planet Chris thought he had long left behind. One that left him with many scars, inside and out.
Soon, they are stranded and fighting for survival, against not only squads of cyborg soldiers, but the hostile terrain of the planet itself.
